ScreenIt 2010 is one of the many conferences and workshops being held in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the University of Bologna's prestigious Advanced School in Modern Languages for Translators and Interpreters (Forlì), which, by a singular twist of fate, also happens to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the city's Department of Interdisciplinary Studies in Languages, Translation and Cultures.

Sub-ti is a subtitling company providing both film translation services and a state-of-the-art digital softing system for international Film Festivals. Sub-ti operates on a global level and in the past year it has provided subtitles for many renowned film festivals and prestigious exhibitions, such as the BFI in London, the Venice Film Festival, the Berlin Film Festival, the MoMA in New York, the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, the Middle East Film Festival in Abu Dhabi.

Sub-ti recently founded Sub-ti Access, a new subsidiary based in Rome, with the aim of providing accessibility services (subtitling for the hearing impaired and audio description for the blind) for television, film festivals and other live events (e.g. theatre performances).
